ZZ Designs and Manufactures Ultra-Thin H-Beam Universal Mill for China Baowu Maanshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd.

On February 1st, 2024, Zhongzhong Science & Technology (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. and China Baowu Maanshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. signed the design and manufacture contract of ultra-thin H-beam universal mill. Maanshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., a subsidiary controlled by China Baowu Steel Group Co., Ltd., is a large-scale steel joint venture and an important steel production base with diversified development. It is the host in the formulation of China national standard for hot-rolled H-beam, the pioneer and leader of Chinese H-beam market and technology, and the earliest enterprise to mass-produce H-beam in China. It has independent intellectual property rights and core technologies for H-beam, wheel, cold heading steel, pipeline steel and other products. It has won the title of "China Famous Brand" in terms of H-beam and wheel products and its trademark has been rated as China Famous Brand.
The signing of this project is a deliberate decision made by Maanshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd., who chose to cooperate with ZZ from many equipment suppliers after a lot of investigations and in-depth exchanges, and with consideration of the experience of equipment design and manufacturing at home and abroad. Maanshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. spoke highly of ZZ's R&D strength, equipment capability and high standard management. This project applies the sixth generation universal mill and innovative technology developed by ZZ. The pre-stressed universal mill has the advantages of high rigidity, high precision and small bounce, which plays a key role in the development and mass production of ultra-thin H-beam. Ultra-thin H-beam is mainly used in photovoltaic bracket, automobile manufacturing and other fields. After the project is put into production, it can fill the blank of rolling ultra-thin H-beam in China. Maanshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. is focusing on efficient transformation and upgrading, and is committed to becoming a modern iron and steel enterprise with international competitiveness.
