Warm Congratulations to Guotang Steel for the Successful Hot Test with Load of the 500H Section Mill Production Line

At 10:18 am on October 31, the 500mm H-beam production line of Tangshan Guotang Steel Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Guotang Steel) successfully completed the hot test with load. Zhongzhong Science & Technology (Tianjin) Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as ZZ) is fully in charge of the process, machinery, electrical system, hydraulic & lubrication system, and dust removal system of this project. ZZ’s strong technical strength and excellent equipment performance have been fully recognized by customers. Ms. Gu Fenglan, founder and vice chairman of ZZ, visited the test site in person and delivered a speech to extend congratulations to the successful test of Guotang steel.
This project is a medium H-beam production line with an annual production capacity of 1.2 MTPA. The web width of the produced H-beam is 200-500mm, and the flange height is 125-300mm. The products cover a variety of steel types, including H-beams, I-beams, channels, angles, etc. The production line has the advantages of using less billet sizes for producing a wide range of final products, high yield, etc.
The 500mm H-beam production line is the representative product with the most mature technological equipment among ZZ’s metallurgical production lines, and the applied technologies are taking lead in the industry in China. The production line is arranged with one 2HI reversible BDM and 11 finishing stands in configuration of "1+11 semi-continuous layout". Key technologies such as automatic roll changing technology with independent intellectual property rights are applied, which effectively improve production efficiency, product yield, save energy and reduce consumption, so as to achieve the goal of reducing costs and improving quality for the clients. In addition, the production line is applied with the 5th-generation housingless universal mill independently developed by ZZ, which adopts a fully hydraulic locking design. This design greatly improves the rigidity of the mill and reduces manual labor, so that the assembly and roll changing efficiency is significantly improved.
Guotang Steel, affiliated to Jinan Steel Group, covers an area of more than 5,000 acres, and its main business includes: cast iron, billet, strip, section, bar and wire and the corresponding deep-processing products. It is a large-scale steel enterprise with annual production capacity of 3 MTPA. The 500mm H-beam production line is the second project designed & manufactured by ZZ for Guotang Steel. ZZ will continue to provide excellent technical services as it has done in the past, strive to achieve the production goal of production line, and make this production line become a first-class benchmark project in China to create greater benefits for customers.
