Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of China announced the list of the 9th Batch of National Single Equipment Manufacturing Champion Enterprises. Zhongzhong Science & Technology (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “ZZ”), with its leading market position in the specialized field of Universal Section Mills, was honored with the prestigious title of National Single Equipment Manufacturing Champion Enterprise. This achievement represents another national-level recognition for the company, following honors such as National High-Tech Enterprise, National Enterprise Technology Center, National Innovation Model Enterprise, National Green Factory, National First Major Technical Equipment (First Set), and its role of taking lead in undertaking a key national R&D project under the 14th Five-Year Plan of China.

The National Single Equipment Manufacturing Champion title is widely known as the “pearl on the crown of China's manufacturing industry.” It is awarded to enterprises that demonstrate outstanding market share, technological innovation, and competitiveness in a specific global market segment, representing the highest level of specialization and excellence in China's relevant manufacturing sector. Organized and evaluated by MIIT, the selection process is highly rigorous. Following recommendation by the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, ZZ stood out among numerous applicants and received this authoritative national recognition.

Universal Section Mill Independently Developed and Manufactured by ZZ, Capable of Producing the World's Largest H-beams, Z pile and U pile.
As a leading enterprise in China's section mill equipment industry, ZZ has systematically mastered process and equipment technologies for producing section products ranging from 100 mm to 1,700 mm, achieving successful industrial verification and commercial application. Its equipment and technologies have received numerous honors, including the National First Major Technical Equipment Certification (First Set), the Second Prize of the National Metallurgical Science and Technology, and the First Prize of Tianjin Science and Technology Progress. ZZ also takes lead in undertaking the national key R&D project titled "High-Performance Hot Rolling Technology for Super Heavy H-Beams" under the 14th Five-Year Plan of China.
Universal Section Mill Series Independently Developed and Manufactured by ZZ
The intelligent universal section mills developed by ZZ have filled multiple technological gaps within the industry and solved critical bottleneck problems in section rolling processes and equipment. The mill equipment has reached internationally advanced level, breaking the market dominance and technological barriers imposed by Western suppliers in the high-end section mill equipment sector. Furthermore, the ZZ’s solutions outperform comparable international products in terms of technology, energy efficiency, and operating costs. The mills are capable of producing a wide range of high-quality section products, including: H-beams and ultra-lightweight thin-web H-beams, Z-type and U-type sheet piles, High-end offshore steel, Railway steel, Angle for high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage transmission towers, etc. These products are widely applied in advanced rail transit systems, large-scale steel structure bridges, offshore construction, power transmission tower, and green prefabricated buildings and other new infrastructure construction fields. ZZ has successfully bridged critical gaps in China's domestic capability for H-beam universal mills and high-end large-size H-beam products, ending China's historical dependence on imported high-end section mill and high-end section products.
