1150 Weathering Special Steel Composite Section Mill Line of Liaoning Zizhu Group Light Special Steel Co., Ltd. Put Into Production, Undertaken by Zhongzhong Science & Technology (Tianjin) Co., Ltd.

Recently, the 1150 weather-resistant special steel high-performance composite section steel production line of Liaoning Zizhu Group Light Special Steel Co., Ltd., for which Zhongzhong Science & Technology (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhongzhong Science & Technology") undertook the design of the overall mechanical, electrical and hydraulic (M-E-H) systems, the manufacturing of core equipment, and the general contracting, successfully passed the one-time hot load commissioning test.The first trial-rolled steel sheet pile passed smoothly through the roughing mill and finishing mill train, and was successfully delivered to the cooling bed for cooling, with all product dimensions meeting the required specifications. The electro-mechanical-hydraulic integrated systems of the project were all under the overall design and integrated supply of Zhongzhong Science & Technology. Its outstanding technical competence and superior equipment performance have received full recognition from the customer.
The production line adopts the world's most advanced 1+1+9 high-performance section steel production process configuration, with the finishing mill utilizing high-rigidity pre-stressed, high-precision housingless mills.The finishing and stacking section of the production line integrates a number of world-first core technologies: the 100-meter stacker is equipped with a built-in servo-driven high-precision closed-loop control system; the intelligent band saw cutting system enables efficient fixed-length cutting of entire bundles of section steel in a single operation; and the automatic rail separating device utilizes patented technology to precisely position the steel at the standard spacing required for stacking. Multiple proprietary innovative technologies collectively form a fully unmanned and high-precision high-end efficient section steel collection process throughout the entire production flow. From billet loading to finished product packaging, the entire process is fully automated, moving away from the traditional experience-dependent manual production mode and achieving digital rolling. This approach enhances production continuity and product stability while significantly reducing the labor intensity of frontline operations.
The production line is designed with an annual capacity of 800,000 tons, fully benchmarked against advanced international manufacturing standards. Its product portfolio covers a wide range of section steel products, including 700 H-beam series, 600 U-pile series, heavy rail series below 120, 300 power transmission tower angle steel series, bulb flat steel series, L-beam series, split T-beam series, I-beam series, and channel steel series, featuring the advantages of fewer billet sizes, wider product coverage, and high product yield rate.
Anshan Zizhu Light Special Steel Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Liaoning Zizhu Group, officially commissioned in 2020, with its corestrategic focus on the specialized production of high-weather-resistance, high-value-added special steel products.As the core technology cooperation service provider for this production line, Zhongzhong Science & Technology will continue to provide full-cycle, integrated technical support, closely coordinating with the customer's project implementation schedule, efficiently resolving various technical issues in commissioning, operation and maintenance, and making every effort to ensure the production line reaches its full design capacity and operational efficiency in a rapid and stable manner.Both parties have jointly established this project as a benchmark demonstration production line in the domestic special steel industry.
